TipMate is a tip calculator and bill-splitting app. Core calculations, history, and settings are stored locally on your device.

1. Information We Collect

TipMate does not require account creation or direct personal profile information. The app integrates Google AdMob for ads in the free version, and Google Mobile Ads SDK may process advertising-related data according to Google's policies.

• No account sign-in is required.
• No name, email, or phone is requested directly by the app.
• Tip history and settings are stored locally on device.
• Advertising-related data may be processed by Google Mobile Ads SDK after the app's ad-consent flow is unlocked.

2. Local Data Storage

Your tip history and settings are saved locally on your device only. TipMate uses these local records to provide history and restore your preferred defaults.

3. Third-Party Services

TipMate uses Google AdMob to show ads for non-premium users. Google may process device, diagnostics, performance, advertising, and interaction-related data according to its own privacy practices.

4. Consent and App Tracking Transparency

TipMate does not initialize ads or request App Tracking Transparency on first launch. After your first successful Save action in the Calculator, the app may present Google UMP consent flow and Apple's App Tracking Transparency prompt if required.

• If you allow tracking, TipMate can request personalized ads.
• If you choose Ask App Not to Track, TipMate can still request non-personalized ads.
• The first successful Save action does not show an ad.
• Ads become eligible only after that consent flow has completed.

We may update this policy from time to time. Any updates will be posted on this page.
